These Terms and Conditions apply to orders placed through the Lumise.eu online store.
Lumise.eu delivers internationally to selected countries and regions where reasonable transport connections are available. Lumise.eu does not deliver to Finland, Sweden or Norway, as dedicated local online stores are available for those markets.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided when placing the order is correct and up to date.
We strive to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible, generally within 1–3 business days after receiving the order.
Orders placed during weekends, public holidays, campaigns or peak seasons may require additional processing time.
Once the shipment has been handed over to the carrier, the customer will receive tracking information by email when available.
Delivery times vary depending on destination country, shipping method, customs processing and carrier conditions.
Lumise reserves the right to limit available shipping methods, reject shipments or cancel orders if the destination, shipment size, transport restrictions or carrier conditions make delivery impractical or commercially unreasonable.
If calculated shipping costs are clearly incorrect due to technical limitations, unusually large shipments or exceptional delivery requirements, Lumise reserves the right to contact the customer regarding additional shipping costs or cancel the order and refund the payment.
Prices displayed within the European Union generally include the applicable VAT rate of the destination country.
EU business customers with a valid VAT number may be eligible for VAT exempt intra-community supply according to applicable EU VAT legislation. EU business customers wishing to purchase goods as VAT exempt intra-community supply must provide a valid VAT number before placing the order. If VAT exemption is not available automatically at checkout, the customer must contact Lumise customer service before placing the order. VAT settings generally cannot be modified after the order has been placed. In such cases the original order may need to be canceled and recreated. For orders that have already been shipped or delivered, VAT treatment can no longer be changed afterwards.
For deliveries outside the European Union, prices are generally displayed excluding VAT.
The customer is solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, clearance fees, handling charges and other costs imposed by local authorities or carriers in the destination country.
The customer is also responsible for determining possible import charges and local requirements before placing the order.
Certain countries may have minimum order value requirements or import restrictions. For example, deliveries to the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) currently require a minimum order value of 160 €.
Lumise reserves the right to restrict or refuse deliveries to countries or regions affected by sanctions, export restrictions, armed conflicts, carrier restrictions or excessive transport surcharges.
Available shipping methods and shipping costs are displayed at checkout based on destination country, shipment dimensions, weight and product selection.
We primarily use carriers such as FedEx, PostNord and other logistics partners depending on the destination country.
Depending on destination and shipment type, deliveries may be made to parcel lockers, pickup points, businesses or directly to the delivery address.
Some oversized, heavy, hazardous or restricted products may not be deliverable to certain countries.
Payments are processed through Adyen N.V. Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may vary depending on country, order value and customer type.
Available payment methods may include:
The payment service provider may require acceptance of its own terms and conditions.
The payment service provider acts as an independent controller regarding payment data. Lumise does not process or store customers’ payment card details.
Consumer customers have a voluntary 100-day return policy for unused and resalable products.
Returned products must be unused, unmodified and in resalable condition, including original packaging.
The return policy does not apply to products that cannot be returned due to their nature, including gift cards, digital products or custom-made products unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
A return handling fee of 9.90 € will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Returns must be made according to Lumise return instructions and using the designated return method.
Lumise reserves the right to reject returns that are not in resalable condition.
If the return is caused by a defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered product, the return is free of charge for the customer.
We reserve the right to deduct any reduction in value caused by unnecessary handling, installation, use or damaged packaging.
We do not reimburse return shipping costs for returns made contrary to our return instructions.
Refunds are processed after the returned goods have been received and inspected.
Refunds are generally issued using the same payment method used for the original order.
Refund processing times may vary depending on season, payment provider and banking systems.
Product exchanges are generally handled as returns and new orders unless otherwise agreed with customer service.
If the customer receives an incorrect, defective or damaged product, the customer must contact Lumise customer service without undue delay.
Claims regarding transport damage, missing products or incorrect deliveries should be submitted within seven (7) days after receiving the shipment.
Lumise complies with applicable consumer protection legislation regarding statutory defect liability.
In addition to statutory rights, Lumise generally provides a voluntary 12-month warranty against manufacturing and material defects unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Warranty terms, duration and coverage may vary depending on the product.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Warranty replacement or repair does not extend the original warranty period unless required by mandatory law.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for the intended purpose, vehicle, device or installation environment.
The customer must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, installation requirements, safety standards and manufacturer instructions.
Electrical products, automotive accessories and technical systems must be installed properly and safely.
We strongly recommend using qualified professionals for electrical and vehicle installations.
Lumise is not liable for damages caused by:
Compatibility information provided on product pages, customer service communications or marketing materials is intended as guidance only and does not remove the customer’s responsibility to verify suitability and safe installation.
Lumise is not liable for damages caused by improper, illegal or non-compliant use or installation of products.
Lumise is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete product information provided by manufacturers, suppliers or third parties where Lumise could not reasonably detect the error.
Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights granted by mandatory applicable law.
For deliveries outside the European Union, the customer acts as the importer of record and is responsible for complying with local laws, import restrictions, certification requirements, taxes, customs duties and other applicable regulations in the destination country.
If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, abandoned, returned due to unpaid customs charges or cannot be delivered due to local import restrictions, Lumise reserves the right to deduct all incurred shipping, return shipping, customs, handling and carrier charges from the refundable amount.
Customers may cancel orders before shipment by contacting customer service.
If the order has already been dispatched, the order will be handled according to the return policy.
Lumise reserves the right to cancel orders and refund payments if:
Obvious pricing errors include situations where the displayed price significantly deviates from the normal market price of the product or is clearly incorrect due to technical or human error.
Lumise is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
Such events may include strikes, labor disputes, war, armed conflict, sanctions, natural disasters, epidemics, governmental actions, import/export restrictions, transportation disruptions, carrier restrictions, cyberattacks, telecommunications failures or other exceptional circumstances.
