Smoke Detector

A compact battery-powered smoke alarm for motorhomes, campervans, caravans and other recreational vehicles. The photoelectric infrared sensor detects smoke, while the integrated heat sensor also reacts to rising temperatures. If a potential hazard is detected, the alarm emits a loud 85 dB warning signal together with a flashing light signal.

The smoke alarm operates with a standard 9V battery, so no separate wiring or connection to the vehicle’s electrical system is required. Thanks to the included ceiling mounting bracket and screws, the alarm is easy to install in a suitable location, such as on the ceiling of a motorhome. Battery not included.

The smoke alarm features a dedicated test button that makes it easy to check that the device is functioning correctly. During normal operation, the red indicator light flashes approximately every 30–40 seconds to indicate that the alarm is active. In alarm mode, the light flashes rapidly and the 85 dB warning sound is activated. The device also gives an audible warning when the battery voltage is low.
